TTC fares paid with a PRESTO card, PRESTO Ticket, debit or credit card, including a mobile wallet, include a two-hour transfer from the first tap. Use the same card, ticket or device for each tap. Cash fares do not include that two-hour transfer.

Questions to take into a coffee chat

Use one that matches what you want to learn. These are suggested questions, not statements from employees or claims about office culture.

  • What would you check before choosing between a downtown commute and living farther from this office?

  • Has the PATH changed how you get around on office days, or do you mostly use street-level routes?

  • Which part of Toronto did you start exploring after moving here, and what would you recommend for a first visit?

Ask a follow-up about the person’s own experience, and check whether it applies to your target office and role.
